My Operation -

I is back ^^
In February I had some surgery to remove one of my acoustic neuromas. I have a condition called NF2, so this AN (or tumor) was causing me many problems including hearing and balance. During the op they also implanted an Audiotory Brainstem Implant to assist me hearing as I am practicaly deaf. The op apparantly lasted 19 hours...then I was on intensive care because they couldn't raise my temperature or heart rate. I can't remember, lol! I was sedated during ICU. But I did have some funny dreams... For laughs, I was sure the nurse was trying to kill me, saw someone brushing their teeth and I think when I was coming round, the world was upside down. (I'm sure i was waking as had this air blanket thing and several screens) I have been active on TH I just haven't had time to create this thread, lol. Also, in March I was back in hospital as I got a CSF leak so they had to fix it before I got infected :/ This time I woke up in a recovery room, not ICU. But i'm all good now  Sorry for long thread, wanted to share the details x
