Skin allergy maybe? - July 25th 2011, 10:49 PM

About 2-3 weeks ago I came out in a wierd rash thing, all over my body, little red spots, now they've gone, the skin on my hands started peeling.. and every night and morning my lymph nodes [in my throat] swell up.

They only swell when i'm allergic to something, and they only thing I actually knwo I am allergic to is almonds. So I have avoided them at all costs

So I don't know what it is but is there anything that'll help my throat stop swelling, and stop the peeling on my hands [yes I have been moisturising]
The only thing that made my hand better is my dog's tongue
Water makes it worse.

It could be a dust mite allergy, if it happens at night. Try hoovering your mattress, pillows and duvet to see if that helps. I had a teacher who had to do this.

Or it could be washing powder. Try changing to one designed to be gentle (Fairy Non-Bio or similar).

If all else fails, get yourself to a doctor. They can get some allergy tests done for you.

Not really, it's eased up a little but not so much.

It might be something in the laundry detergent you're using. I would try changing it or running your bedding through the washer and dryer without the detergent and see if it helps.
