Alleviating Knee Pain -
October 16th 2011, 03:23 AM
Okay, so for my new job I kneel and crouch a lot, more crouching then kneeling. And of course I now have stiff knees in the morning. I've always had bad knees all my life (Thanks Mom,
) so it's nothing new. I was just wondering if anyone knew of any home remedies for alleviating knee pain or helping stiff knees? Would help a lot. ![]() Please and Thank You! Icing it for 15 minutes at a time can help the swelling (which is generally what causes pain). Elevating the knee as much as you can. Stretching exercises are great too. Do some for even just 5 minutes a day before or after work.
Taking an antinflammaotry like Advil, Motrin, Ibuprofen (any painkiller) will work to relieve some of the pain and swelling. So you have gray hair and you're only 26
that's just another reason I love you... ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I swear by a heating pad for every joint pain (or a really hot shower/bath), maybe that's just me? Anyway, I typically stretch my legs out and just massage the knees.
Using a heating pad while watching tv etc is great because you completely forget the pain. (again could just be me) Hey, I'm Jon!
