Re: showering question - November 2nd 2011, 02:16 AM

Sure. But, don't shower every single day, at night and in the morning. It is not good to be "too clean".
Just saw you added a question, look into getting an acne body wash too. Also, try Clean and Clear pimple cream, which you put on at night. I use it and it works wonders for me!

Hello,

When you shower, you remove both dirt and your skin natural oils, so its a good idea to apply moisturizer after you shower, just make sure (especially for your face) to use one that is appropriate for your skin type.
You can also opt to change to a milder soap.

Cheers

Re: 2 Question's about body - November 4th 2011, 04:34 PM

You are actually supposed to shower once daily. With that, shampooing once every other day is supposed to be healthier, but you have to have the right shampoo. It's fine to shower once in the morning and evening. Just don't shampoo both times, as that can harm your hair and scalp (drying it out too much).

As for the acne....sometimes the best method is to just use water and keep your face moisturized with lotions, but not completely coat your face in them. It's fine to try different acne treatments though if water doesn't do it.

For the water to work properly, you need to soak your face in steam/warm water. Then apply creams if you want, as the steam opens your pores. Sit for a minute or so, then rinse with cool water which closes them up again. Dry your face by patting with a soft cloth. You may also use a face loofah which will get rid of dead skin to make your face smoother.

Hope this helps!
