Out of Breath? - March 23rd 2009, 10:27 PM

I'm not the most healthiest of people but I can run a fair distance without getting out of breath but then when I run upstairs I seem to be. Is it just because I'm not running a flat distance...or..?

I don't think it's anything to be particularly worried about, running up the stairs is enough to make most people out of breath..

Yeah, I agree. Stairs can be a killer
I think its normal, everyone hates walking up stairs. I'm fairly used to it as I have to walk up lots of stairs in school, but it is rather hard sometimes, and easy to get out of breath, especially if you're running. But I wouldn't worry about it to much.

I also have a harder time breathing when doing treadmill on incline instead of flat. Maybe it works different muscles in your body and makes you more tired.
