Random Rash - March 24th 2009, 11:31 PM

Well I woke up this morning, fine. But when I got home and took my clothes off to lay in bed, I noticed I have a red rash around my hips and thighs.

I have no idea where it has come from, I have checked washing liquids, and they're all the same, and also my bathroom stuff, which again is all the same.

Does anyone have any idea why I would get a random rash?

Sometimes you can get rashes from sweating or even new clothes. Where sweat is concerned, it can tend to build up around your middle and hips (the waistband of your pants) from friction and heat.

Try to help any itching with cortisone cream, keep it clean, and if it doesn't go away, gets worse, or spreads anywhere else, contact your doctor.

It appears to have gone now

Would I get one if I have been out in the cold all night, then come into a warm house?

Yeah it could be that, I always get a rashy type thing when I've been out in the cold and then come inside to the warmth. Usually on my thighs.
I wouldn't worry too much since it went away pretty quickly, it probably was just that.

Have some composure, where is your posture?

Same thing happens to me with a quick transition from cold to hot.
