Bump On The Head. - December 26th 2011, 08:35 PM

So, I hit my head on something. I'm not sure what it was, but there's a pretty nasty bump there. It stings when you touch it, which is hard to avoid because it itches like crazy! I also had a really bad dizzy spell the other night, where I just couldn't get the room into focus. Is this something I should get checked out by a doctor? Or is it something that will simply pass?

You could've given yourself a concussion. But if you feel normal now, other than the bump hurting, you shouldn't need to see a doctor.

I've found the one who completes me.

You didn't mention when you bumped your head. A knot isn't much to worry about, but an ice pack could help with the soreness.

If it's been a couple days, then I'd say you are fine. If it were a concussion then you should have been affected right after the bump.

So, I'd say you should be fine. Since you couldn't focus the other night, that could be due to light changes from room-to-room, standing up too quickly, being tired, etc.

If it happens again, see a doctor. Otherwise, I think you are alright

So you have gray hair and you're only 26

that's just another reason I love you...

I didn't mention when because I'm not exactly sure when it happened. I just realized it was there when I started feeling dizzy and the pain started. But, you guys are right. It's probably nothing.

Hopefully you don't get anymore dizzy spells! If you do - it's time for the doctor :P
