pain in head - January 1st 2012, 06:39 AM

hello all
Recently i've been having kind of pain in the back of my head over to the right side. This seems to happen if i exercise somewhat vigorously or after i masterbate and ejaculate. I also have had irregular sleeping times the past week or so cause of the holidays such as going to sleep at 4 am and waking up at 1-2 p.m. not sure if this affects it or not. There has been an aneurysm in my family before so i am a little worried that it could be it. Could someone maybe help me and tell me what could be wrong? Thanks

If you are worried, see a doctor.

But it could be several things. Firstly, if it were an aneurysm you would not feel anything unless it has been ruptured which you would be feeling much more pain than just a headache. So, I think you are safe from that.

The headaches from exercise and masturbation are likely different types of headaches. There is actually such thing as sexual headaches, which might be what you have. If it's typically right before you climax, then it is probably this type of headache. If you feel it before climaxing, try to stop, slow down, or just take a break. This is known to stop the headaches or at least lessen the duration of them.

As for exercise, it is just likely from that. Try not to exercise as hard. Push yourself, but not too much. And of course, be sure you get lots of water. The main reason people get headaches from exercise is overexerting themselves by lifting too heavy of weights, or by not having enough water.

I do suggest seeing a doctor since these headaches are not normal for you and I hope you get to feeling better!

Thanks for the answer
I would rather not see a doctor right now so i'll probably just take a break for a couple of days and see what happens
