Enviromentally friendly feminine hygiene products? - March 27th 2009, 11:39 PM

Hm, so I was thinking about how tampons and pads must not be great for the environment. I remember some of you talking about other alternatives, would someone please give me some information on some that are more enviromentally friendly?

Check out [this] website!
There are all sorts of way to be 'green'! They have:
1) Organic, disposable pads and tampons
2) Reusable cotton cloth pads
3) Menstrual cups
and I'm sure you could find more! But that website looks totally helpful!

Thank you guys! I think I may try a menstrual cup. Has/does anyone use one? One of those websites said they're about 4cm in diameter and that sounds painful?
