Okay about 10 minuets ago I sneezed, but since sneezing I have not been able to move my neck all the way round to my left and look over my shoulder I can turn it a-bit to the left, but when I try and turn it all the way round to the left it hurts and it also makes the upper left of chest hurt too . What can I do to stop it hurting ? and its only been since I have sneezed

Funnily enough it's common for people to get this whiplash style injury from sneezing. Painkillers and warm compresses will relax the muscles and hopefully ease your pain.
 also, don't hold your neck in one position. After painkillers and the warm compress you should try a few neck exercises so it doesn't seize up. Tip your head side to side and up and down slowly.

I've since had a hottish shower and its helped somewhat. Just now gotta tell my supervisor at work tomorrow ' Yeah I can't lift that or this - I've got whiplash from sneezing' . I don't get why it did this though - It was the average normal ACHOO sneeze

Sometimes if we're sat a certain way, sneezes can hurt :P I know that if I'm looking to the side and sneeze, it hurts my neck for a while afterwards. Take a couple of painkillers, it may not be so bad tomorrow

I was standing up. It's got abit better through out the day but it still hurts to move it properly, I don't think I will be lifting anything heavy tomorrow at work.
