Difficulty controlling adderall use? - October 15th 2012, 02:32 AM

I take adderall, which is an amphetamine. i usually end up taking more than prescribed, not because i want to get a high or anything like that, but i like the way it feels and i dont want the good feeling to stop. the problem is that its a schedule 2 controlled substance(in the United States) so that i can only get 30 a month no refills, so if i take too much one day i dont have enough for the days where i really need it.

dont tell me to tell my doctor this, he would cut me off if i did that and i wouldnt have any treatment at all. dont get me wrong, my life is still better with adderall than it would be without, im just having a hard time regulating how much i use. im prescribed 30mg, some days im going at like 100mg .
