Just Need Someone to Talk To - November 27th 2014, 01:40 AM

Hey! I'm a recovering addict. It's been almost two years now i think since i picked up. But I'm feeling the itchy veins and it doesn't abate, its really starting to get to me now, im irritable and starting to lash out at people. I even have using dreams again. If anyone is in my boat or was at some point I'd love to be able to talk through it. I didn't want to sour the mood in the chat room.

How can man die better? Than facing fearful odds, for the ashes of his father, in the temple of his gods.

"I find it kind of funny, I find it kind of sad, the dreams in which I'm dying are the best I ever had."

I'm a recovered drug addict, so feel free to PM me if you need to talk. I definitely understand going awhile without and then having cravings suddenly pop up. When this happens, I try and figure out why I might be starting to think about the substance again. For me, I get cravings when I get really stressed.
Remember that recovery is a journey. You may slip up every now and then, but most importantly be sure to be proud of yourself for when you don't give in.

And here you are living, despite it all.
