Weird blackout - August 12th 2015, 05:07 AM

A couple days ago I was at my friends family reunion and got completely hammered. The beer I was drinking had a relatively high alcohol content (7%), so it snuck up on me, even though I didn't drink all that much (7 16oz solo cups if I recall correctly, so probably equal to about 12 regular beers). But damn... I seem to remember going to bed, but apparently I got back up, pissed on a bunch of my proxy uncle's electric equipment, then tried to get in bed with my friends cousin (a guy). I was pretty embarrassed, but they still want me back next year.
I didn't get a hangover when I woke up, probably because I was still drunk for the next two hours. But I've drank more than that before, and this has never happened. So... what happened? Can anyone explain this? Thinking I was asleep then pissing on random stuff, and being drunk after waking up? It makes no sense to me...

Honestly that sounds like a lot of alcohol to me, in the future go slower and make sure you're also drinking water. It could be it effected you more because it was stronger alcohol and you may have not had as much subsistence in your stomach as you have in the past prior to drinking. It's very possible to still have alcohol in your system the morning after and to still be tipsy or drunk. Just be more careful next time so that you don't accidentally get alcohol poisoning.

And here you are living, despite it all.

That is a lot of beer. Most people would black out with that amount of alcohol. 7 percent ABV is a lot stronger than a 4-4.5 percent alcohol natty or bud light.

Yeah, That sounds like a lot of alcohol. I remember blacking out when I drank 8 or 9 beers once. Best to be careful the next time your drinking.

Hey I usually drank beer with more alcohol content, but I'd limit my number of drinks. It is possible to have alcohol in your system the next morning. It would happen to me when I'd drink too much. There's no valid explanation to how a person behaves when drunk. Just to avoid this happening in the future, I'd suggest you take it slow next time. Drinking water in between reduces the effect of alcohol. Just be careful the next time.

That is quite a bit of alcohol.
I have been advised to eat and/or drink water alternating food, alcohol and water.
My experiences of drinking have been few but i know a person that got alcohol poisoning.

I got mild alcohol poisoning one time... sick all day, threw up 17 times all over my car. Actually that was after my first blackout, ironically with less alcohol.
