Question SHOULD I OR SHOUILD I NOT - May 23rd 2009, 05:22 AM

ok so this tuesday is our 8th grade field trip to this place where theres a lot of games and courts and stuff. its jus a big party for the whole day cuz its the 8th grade end of the year party thing b4 u go off to high school and all that. so anyway my friend Paul is going to bring a few bottles of vodka and hes going to try to hide it in a few water bottle containers cuz vodka is clear. at the place u get unlimited sodas and stuff and we were thinking about pouring the vodka in our sodas. me and a couple of my other friends tried this at Pauls party b4 and it tasted really good. but the thing is that if we get caught then were going to get arrested for possession of alcohol and underage drinking, then were going to get kicked out of school cuz that kind of crime is a felony and if u have a felony on ur record then u get kicked out of school. i dont wana get in trouble but i do wana have some vodka at the field trip. im split between 2 decisions right now and idk what to do????

Hey,

Does this sound like a good idea to you? Do you really think that it will be worth getting kicked out of school for? The thing about gossip is it travels fast. Do you honestly think no one else in your grade will hear about this? If it spreads around there is a good chance that a teacher will hear about it and you'll get into big trouble. Don't gamble with your future like this. While I don't condone underage drinking, you have plenty of opportunities to drink outside of school. If you are going to drink then why not wait until school gets out? You shouldn't even be drinking in the first place. There are so many legal ways to have fun. Don't cut your childhood short. Drinking can lead to dangerous situations and it creates a lot of regrets. Make a good choice and don't let drinking at school be one of those regrets. Really take some time to think about what you're doing. Take care and make good choices.

Lots of love <3 Mimi

Do you honestly think it's worth it? You can enjoy yourself without the alcohol, leave the alcohol for parties and enjoy your last day. You will get caught. I'm sorry to be a bore, but it's defiantly not worth it.

It's your decision. I would advise against it, because vodka smells and if you get drunk on a school field trip and you aren't familiar with the effects of alcohol, it will be noticeable and you will most likely get caught. If you really want to drink, i'd suggest you do it at yours or a friend's house instead of a school field trip. It doesn't seem like a smart idea to me.

Teachers, especily high and jr high, know to keep an eye out for those sort of things. Vodka may be clear, but it smells, and if you have a bunch of young teens running around half drunk, they will notice and you will get in BIG trouble. I'm not saying don't drink, just don't drink on school property or school trips! its not worth it hun!!

You will have alot of time to drink when you are older, don't rush to drink enjoy your days of youth. Everything has its time.

Seriously bad idea, if you want to drink vodka and soda, well as much as you are 14 and in the states that is massively underaged but do it at a friends house when there parents are out or something, don't risk getting kicked out of school. I mean seriously will it make you have more fun?

and on a side note, field trips mean coach rides, vodka makes you need to pee....you can do the maths there you will have a horrible journey back (i'm use to getting buses home from clubs....so not fun)
