Friends being pressured - May 2nd 2018, 07:34 PM

This thread has been labeled as triggering, particularly on the subject of substance use, by the original poster or by a Moderator. The contents of this thread might therefore not be suitable for certain sensitive users. Please take this into consideration before continuing to read.

I have a group of friends that hung out last weekend, but one of them pressured my closest friend into doing coke. She didn't want to, but ended up doing it. I feel bad for her, and I'm torn apart. My other friend claims that she wanted to do it, but my close friend said she didn't want to. What do I do? I don't know who to believe and my friend group is being torn by this... They have done pills and pot and such ( I used to but now I'm a few months clean), and now this? I just don't know what to do anymore or what to tell them. And my other friend got mad when I asked her about if what she did was true, if she really did pressure our other friend into doing a drug she didn't want to do. She told me to believe whomever I wanted and that she was just done with everything.

Like I said, I don't know what to do anymore or what to say. I just need advice...

Personally, I don't like peer pressure that much. I would usually choose to be friends with someone who has common interest with me but not pressuring me to do something that I don't want to do. Maybe try making new friends?

Well thing is, no one has pressured me to do stuff. My old friend pressured my best friend to do drugs, so we all quit being friends with the girl. I have been making new friends while dropping others, but it's mainly me being worried about the safety of my best friend.
