Red face Did I do the right thing? - September 10th 2009, 02:35 AM

So I don't know if I'm putting this in the right place, but you can movie it if it needs to be.

Anyways. I just started highschool and I started making new friends, which are my old friends from when I was younger because I don't want to be associated with my old friends. Yesterday I found out that these new friends of mine are smoking weed laced with other drugs, by the sounds of it meth. They're getting some of my old friends to start trying it with them and I was really concerned about my one friend that I've known for quite a while and we just started going to school together again. So when I got home I told my mom everything. Today my mom called the school and I had to go talk to our vice principal about everything and she wants to try and stop this. I then decided that my mom should talk to some of my other friends moms with me there because I thought they deserved to know and I don't want things going horribly wrong for my good friends (like death). So I talked to my one friends mom first and told her that her daughter was thinking about trying weed with some other kids in our class this weekend. She was really shocked that her daughter would even do something like that, but she was very thankful I told her and she told me she really respects me for it. MY other friends mom who came over was also very appreciative that I told her said that she doesnt want me to give up on her daughter, that I could be the person to get her to stop her drug use. I honestly don't know if talking to their parents was the right thing to do. It seemed right at the time, I just hope nothing backfires on me.

Hey Justine. I personally think you did good, because, like you said, doing shit like this can result in them seriously harming or killing themselves. They will no doubt be angry with you if they find out you told their moms but even so, I commend you for doing it, hon.

Yesterday I saw you kissing tiny flowers
But everything that lives is born to die
And so I say to you that nothing really matters
And all you do is stand and cry.

Music is life. Start living.

Heyyy Justine! =)

I'm so proud of you for looking out for your friends! I know it can be hard to do something like you did, because you feel like you're a tattle tale, and you're ratting out your friends. In all honesty though, you could definitely be saving some lives here, so really, good for you! Your friends may be upset at you, but don't worry, once they see that you were just looking out for them, they'll get over it. Don't beat yourself down, or over think this. You had enough courage to speak up, and that's a very impressing, yet noble gesture that you did. You should feel really good about yourself. [:

If you ever need anything, I'm just a PM away. =]

Here's a hug for being so amazing.
