Need some help for an alcoholic -

Hi there guys,
sorry but i need a bit of help... my step dad is a alcoholic and has been since he has been a teenager, hes now nearly fifty. He has been up and down for years but now he is getting really ill because of his constant drinking and is asking me to help him. Im trying to get him into hospital and he has actually said he would go in but i dont know how to go about it. I tried phoning the hospital and they said we need to go to A and E but i have done that so many times before with him and they treat him like shit and always just send him home. does anyone else know what i could do? Hes going to die and i dont want it to come to that, even though he isnt nice when hes drunk i still love him. I just need to help him, and i know he has to help himself but hes trying but cant do it himself. love Arwen xxxx "People are like stained-glass windows.
