Help?!? Please.......

Hey so I need some advice for me to give to a friend ! She is a freshman in high school and she done drug before but over the new year she started doing speed,acid,crack.I don't know what to do because I don't see at all I just text her but I love her and I don't want her to get hurt. What exactly do those drugs do? Can you give me so advice to help her! I don't want to see her end up some were bad! Please help me!

If you don't ever see her, how do you know she is doing those drugs? Unfortunately, there's not a lot I could think would be effective if you can only text message her. Those drugs are amphetamines and psychedelic drugs. If you want to help her, you have to have her willing to quit. She may need rehab especially for the crack as acid isn't as addictive (some believe it's non-addictive) in a physiological sense. All of them result in a reduced appetite with increased arousal and provide euphoric feelings with poor cognitive skills. Acid also produces hallucinations akin to those of psychosis in mentally ill people while cocaine doesn't do that as much.

Well... if you interact in-person, communication is always better and you can see if she was lying or not. People lie for all sorts of reasons for all sorts of things. It's like if I texted you saying I survived being hit by a semi at 80 mph, unless you're the most gullible person, you'd want to check it out while I'm in the hospital to see if it's true. Same here. If you want to help her out, don't just tell her to quit. Do things like asking her why she started, when she started, then later see if she's willing to quit.

All drugs have negative effects on the body and they are used to escape reality.
Do you know how she got into using them?
I think the best thing you can do right now is let her know you love her and you really care about her. Be there for her and remind her that you really appreciate your friendship.
Talk to her about your concerns in person and try to be gentle and open minded. You don't want it to seem like you are attacking her. Simply let her know that you are worried about her and you don't want her to do anything that she might regret.
Maybe you could get some mutual friends to talk to her with you?

Yes, most drugs do negatively affect the body (while some may have effects that are deemed positive), but the fact that you said all drugs are used to escape reality is completely and utterly wrong.

What I mean by that is drugs are used for fun usually. It's a way to have a good time and not think about the negative parts of their lives.
I have lots of friends that use drugs and they all said that is the reason that they started using.
Most drugs are harmful, so why else would people start using them?

Spirituality, Mentality, experiences that differ from reality. FUN, theres plenty of reasons people start using drugs.

Some use them for bad reasons, but some don't. Group them all into one category isn't fair, just because your friends started using drugs because they had nothing better to do doesn't mean everyone does.

Deal with pain, to fuck around, popularity, to look cool, because friends are doing them.


Need I go on? I've used alot of drugs, but I've never pushed anything on anyone.

If you understand whats going on, and the potential risk, then I don't see why people can't make the choice to try new things.
