They really don't get me - April 23rd 2012, 01:21 AM

Even though I'm generally a loud person there are times when us loud people need to find a quite place and chill right? anyway I'm speaking for me. So Friday I as in a weird " everybody just leave me alone mood " which prolonged into Saturday and a bit of Sunday but my dad thought me being quite was a protest for not getting to go to Chaguanas to shop on Saturday (btw the shopping was for deodorant, perfume, underwear etc) and I wasn't in a mood to say anything so he came to his own conclusions about it. that kinda shit really gets to me AAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH I could just stab him sometimes but he's my dad and I know he can't keep up with all my moods.

Well now that you seem to be better - I would tell him that you were just in one of those moods and tell him that you really don't expect him to keep up with your mood changes. Communication is key, and you need to communicate with your dad and just tell him that sometimes you have different moods and you and him BOTH need to adapt to them as they come. Assumptions suck - but thats all your Dad can really do if you don't communicate with him!

You are right, a loud person/outgoing person/ANY person always needs a break and cool off period; and we all have different moods - its how humans operate!

Best wishes,
Chris
