Unhappy Tired of this... - July 21st 2012, 08:20 PM

I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I feel like I'm losing my friends. Two of my best friends are going through rough time. I want one to know she can trust me and I feel like I'm losing the other. My worst fear is losing her to a guy, who happens to be my ex. What am I doing wrong? I try my best to live up to social norms. :/

Maybe talk to your friends about this...
I don't think you're doing anything wrong. If your friends are going through a tough time then try to be there for them. A shoulder to cry on. But don't force them to speak; they may not want to say anything.
God bless.

Your best bet is to verbally offer your support to them. Simply tell them you are there if they need you, and you care alot about them. If you push yourself on them then they will likely create distance from you; so take things slow, offer support, and if they come to you for help then great, but if they don't then thats fine too. No matter what they will know you are there for them (which is what is very important for a friendship).

We all lose friends, sometimes even best friends. But if a friendship doesn't work out, then you know its not suppost to be a true friendship. Eventually you will gain true friends, and realize that all the confusion, the losing friends, and the tears were 100% worth it to be able to find those few true friends.

Best wishes,
Chris

I hope you know that you deserve it all. The best, the most honest, the most beautiful purest love in the world. Not only to be loved by others, but to be loved by yourself. To look in the mirror and think "Yes, I'm exactly who I want to be". To speak up and be proud of yourself. To be brave and open. You deserve the nicest and most caring people to walk into your life. You deserve it all, you know. The whole world...
