My Mother and My "evil" Computer - October 17th 2012, 05:23 AM

Throughout my school years, I've dealt with all my stress, either through playing games, or coding something on my computer.

I bought my very own computer quite some time ago(years and years) and ever since then my mother has had trust issues with me, like being on Steam or using Skype. She keeps thinking I see my PC as nothing but a way to play games, and that it is the source of all my depression throughout life.

In reality, yes, I love gaming and talking to friends online, It's how I enjoy life, because there are certain restrictions in where we ca't be on the phone, or we want to play a bloody game together.

She claimed a week ago that I was wasting my life, so you know what I did? I put a keylogger, that I coded myself, on her governmet-given computer. I now have all her passwords and usernames for everything. I've written them all down, but havn't shpwn them, since me knowing those things could possibly be illegal.

She wont even let me use the internet for school related things and my entire Science and Math books are online. Now Im flunking both!!

Her reason? "That machine is a distraction from schoolwork and if you make the honor roles maybe I'll let you use it." A bit hard to pass when I can't do math or science without internet ehh?

Recently, since I know I'm not going to pass math or science this quarter I've been so depressed I've just stopped giving a damn about my other classes and just ODing on something lethal.

I've tried arguing with her for hours about using my computer, but she just took a fucking hammer to it a few hours ago. Even better? She took my phone charger cable and cut it! The only reason I'm even able to use my phone is because I rewired everything to make the cable work.

I can't go live with my father because, I just really don't want to live with him...

How do I talk some sense into this person?!

I can't take this anymore!

Honestly, it may not be worth fighting with her just because the more you resist the worse it could get. If you HAVE to have the computer for subjects try going to the school library during study hall or free time and using the computers there. Unless she's denied you access at school too, you should be able to do that. It might also help to talk to your math and science teachers and explain the situation. I don't know if there's anything they can do, but I think it would be worth it to try.

Also, maybe you can talk her into letting you have it for school if you set up a seperate account or something that is only for school work and you can't do anything else that will get you distracted.
