Fighting with friends - October 24th 2012, 02:58 AM

So this past month my closest girl friend picked a fight with me. She was saying a bunch of lies (several other friends think its lies too).
Anyways, today's problem: in first period my other close girl friend, M1, was confiding in me about chances of pregnancy. I told her I'd be just fine with taking her to get a test at Walmart or whatever during lunch on thursday. Well fast forward two periods (after my class and before lunch). The bell rang and our classes being right across the hall I waited there until everyone went out of the room. She and my other close girl friend M2 weren't in there! So I texted M2 (M1 doesn't have a phone) asking where they were. Turns out they got "let out early" and decided to get lunch. They were already 3/4 way done eating when I finally found them in the cafeteria. So I didn't bother getting anything to eat since it would just hold them up. They'd sit there a little annoyed almost or they would just leave...

I just don't get how it can go from me being such a great friend, to a "I'm hungry so I'm going to ditch you if you aren't right by me"..

This happens every time I get out 5 or 10 seconds after the bell rings! They will be down the stairs waiting in line seeming pissed that Im holding them up..

What can I do? ),:
I'm out of friends... I only have my boyfriend and I have lunch with him every other day (the days I don't I'm with m1 and m2)

(sorry its long...)

Well first I think you are over thinking this way to much. Just because they are in line getting food without you doesn't mean they want the friendship to end, or that they are annoyed. It just means that they want to eat. Instead of looking into small actions; look into there big actions. Do you sit with them at lunch and seem to have a positive conversation going? If you do, then focus on that instead of them getting there lunch before you. It seems very much so that you want to roll with the crowd (M1, and M2), instead of leading it. You are focusing on small actions, and if they aren't going the way you want them to go (or think they should go), you think something is wrong. The fact is, I bet most of the time nothing is wrong, you are just assuming something is wrong. I've been on both ends of this type of situation, and I know that we sometimes make things bigger than what they are; and it makes things very bad and unhealthy for the friendships/relationships you have with people. Take a step back, look at the big picture instead of small actions; and take a deep breath. If after you do this for a few weeks things don't change, then maybe communicating your feelings with M1, and M2 will help them get on the same page as you and address the problems/concerns you are dealing with.

Best wishes,

I hope you know that you deserve it all. The best, the most honest, the most beautiful purest love in the world. Not only to be loved by others, but to be loved by yourself. To look in the mirror and think "Yes, I'm exactly who I want to be". To speak up and be proud of yourself. To be brave and open. You deserve the nicest and most caring people to walk into your life. You deserve it all, you know. The whole world...
