friends... or lack thereof - May 14th 2014, 09:01 PM

I don't have any friends... I guess I talk to some of you, but I have none in the physical world. Any friend I ever had was from school and I'm not going to school anymore. I only saw them in settings outside of school occasionally, even though they all went out frequently. When I started being hospitalized, I made friends at each stay. I mean, I met some of the best people in there. People that I could see myself being real friends with. We'd exchange info and stay in contact for a month or so and then it'd just drop off. I've always had troubles with having friends but it's not surprising since of relationship issues in general. idk I just wish I could have real friendships and a best friend. I'm afraid of people and I guess that's why I'm not close to anyone. I had a huge betrayal as a little girl, things that felt like betrayal throughout my childhood, and then I was rejected. twice. last year and my heart was just shattered. I didn't even do the same thing twice. I learned from my mistakes and still ended up fucked.

I feel the same way its hard when you dont have friends in the real world to share experiences with and have a laugh . I do socialise with people but friends is probably an overstatement because we probably dont even know each others last names. I hope making friends is something that happens over time sometimes it can be very lonely !

I know how it feels. I get so lonely and everyone who I've ever been friends with has just left so it makes me feel like something's wrong with me. The only thing that gets me out of bed everyday is knowing that I'm only 17 and I've got so many more experiences to have in the future. This is only one part of my life. Who knows where we'll all be, 10 years from now but meeting new people along the way is compulsory! I hope that making friends will happen for you - as I'm sure it will - and I hope this helped !
