Unhappy People are just wrong? - May 5th 2009, 12:55 AM

i have a problem....?

a week ago me and my friend was on the trampoline when he started to do things and touch me in the wrong places...i touched him too but he forced me too...then he got on my back trying to messaging me when his brother came around the corner and saw him on me. he jumped off me like real quick. then the next day me and my mom r sitting on the front porch when he comes up and says u need to talk to your daughter. i said its not just my fault, its urs too. then when my mom left to go get my dad, i sat my friend down and talked to him about what happened. i told him every teen does it...i told him that i knew 12 year olds that had a child.....my mom told him that me and him were at the age that me and him wants to experiment things.

then a couple of days ago he was in my yard when he said he wasnt aloud in my yard anymore or come over anymore...so i said ok and i told him im going to go talk to his stepdad and see what is going on bc sometimes my friend lies about things so u cant really believe what he says. well i went to his house and his stepdad said he wasnt aloud in my yard again or to come over again...i walked out of his house and went home and started to cry bc of what happened. my dad was outside and i tryed to tell him that i dont have any friends anymore bc i either do something or me and someone does something and gets into trouble and never can be friends again.

today my friend called me and told me that he wanted to talk to me. i went to his house and he said r u mad at me i said no...i had to explained what happened and tell him why i dont have friends is bc of stuff or something like that.....

The end

Hey there,

You are not the source of your friend's problems! If your friend's parents are not letting them over then that isn't your friend's fault either. Your mom is definitely right too- experimenting is natural, and that shouldn't be anything to be ashamed about. I think that talking to him was a good idea. You should both be comfortable and safe around one another, so knowing how he's feeling right now is important.

I think you should get your parents to talk to his parents. They may have some concerns that you and your family are not aware of. Talking to your parents may convince them to let your friend come over again.

For the moment, try to hang out with your friend other places. Maybe go to the movies, go for walks, or hang out at the mall. If it makes your friend more comfortable, invite other people around or ask him to invite some one else along.

Nat.

The great artists of our time are the ones who created something timeless. But it was never them defining it that way.

Experimenting is normal, but he shouldn't have forced you to do that.
