…….......I’ve made mistakes in my life.
……...I’ve let people take advantage of me,
…….And I accepted way less than I deserve.
…..But I’ve learned from my bad choices and
..Even though there are some things I can never
…Get back and people that will never be sorry,
…………I’ll know better next time and
…I won’t settle for anything less than I deserve.

Hmm... I know how frustrating that is. I've been through it. I think it's really just a part of being a teen. If it's really bothering you, I would try talking to them about it. And just keep showing them that you're responsible enough to be given responsibilities and freedoms. Things'll get better. You're only a few years from being moved out and being free of them, so just hang on until then.

*hug* Hope everything works out well for you. I'm always here if you need to talk, just PM me.

Being a teenager is that awkward age between a child and an adult, and most parents don't really know how much freedom to give them. So the best thing you can do it discuss with your parents calmly how much you think you can handle, as far as responsibility. No doubt they will have some different ideas, but I beleive if you are mature about it, you guys can work out some kind of system for you to prove how responsible you can be.

Once you prove that you can handle different things, their attitudes should change. Also, don't give them any reason to not trust you, like acting out or anything, this may discourage any freedoms you may get.

Hope that helped! Good luck

This is gonna suck but, welcome to being a teenager! Parents always do that... I think it's because they want us to be mature, but at the same time we are always gonna be their children. Once you hit eighteen things should change.
