Angry I can't stand my mom. - July 22nd 2009, 03:12 PM

So my parents are divorced and I only wanted to live with my mom when they first got divorced. Well ever since my mom got a boyfriend I can't stand her cause thats all she talks about. So one night i voiced my opinions on everything and now i have to go to a counselor because my mom said she can't handle me anymore and she thinks I'm bipolar. Which I could be but I don't see how.

I also can't stand living with her anymore. She gets on my nerves so much and I just need to get out for like a week or so with out her talking to me. But I don't know how.

Me and my sister are both having a hard time with her because shes changed and doesn't pay any attention to us anymore and my sisters younger then I am so its harder for her to deal with even though its hard for me. I just don't know what to do. I need help before I go crazy and get my self into some deep trouble with her.

Fire and Ice

Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.

You may be bipolar but that doesn't excuse your mom for acting like this, could you talk to your dad and see if you can stay with him at weekends or something prehaps to get away?

The (summer) holidays are coming up (or perhaps you already have them?) Maybe you could talk to both your parents and ask to stay at your dad's for a week or so during the holidays? I know Jess has already suggested that ... but it is a good idea!

Perhaps, since are you seeing one anyway, you could ask your councillor for advice? Maybe he/she can talk to your mum on your behalf?

So much for that idea ...

Your moms actions have an effect on you and I'm assuming thats the only reason your voiceing your appinions and "acting out" although you could be bi polar but I doubt it I think that you need to talk to your mom in a way that she can understand how you feel and your needs ect....shes not acting like an adult if she automatically thinks your crazy just for telling her how you feel....if you need to get out for a week or two talk to a friend and see if you can stay with them for a week or two untill things cool down with your mom...and just hang in there cause things should work out in the end....n if you continue to feel the way you do try to talk to a friend a family member or counsiler about it....it may help....

As tears fall from my eyes,I realized I didn't know them as much as I knew everyone else,Yet what I knew was they where apart of me in different ways,And as I watched them be put in the ground,Their spirits floating,Apart of me went with them...........You will forever be missed and loved...Never forgotten
