Hey there,

I think that it is great that you are going to talk to him and I am sure it will go well. Just be yourself.

I know the situation is different but I had a cousin I barely knew and when she started coming around we all felt awkward because she had been raised differently but she turned out to be a really really cool person. The truth of the matter is you can never judge a book by his cover just because you and your sister don't have your high school diploma's does not mean your half-brother will not like you. I think many people know there is a lot more to a person than what level they completed in school. And, you said you were getting a GED and that is a pretty cool thing.
