Hey Sebrine,

The best way to show you care about your friend is just to keep talking to him and writing to him. Since he is overseas, it isn't really practical to just jump on a plane and see him, so really the best thing you can do is write and let him know that you care about him through words.

Do you write online to this friend? Or do you talk on the phone or write letters? Maybe having something like a written letter from you for him to read would give him something to turn to when he isn't able to talk to you. It would give him something to read over again when he isn't feeling very good. You could try hand making a 'get well soon' card and writing your message inside and sending it to him. I'm sure that would show a good deal about how much you care about him.

I'm sorry your friend is sick right now, but you being sick wont help him. Just keep up your contact and keep talking to him. What he needs right now is a friend, and I'm sure he appreciates how much you care for him a lot.

I hope your friend starts feeling better soon!

Take care.

The great artists of our time are the ones who created something timeless. But it was never them defining it that way.
Everyone has a story. What's yours?

Thank you Nat!!

yes, online, sometimes...
i've wished him to get well. and asked him if he's feeling better (a follow-up).
and tried to cheer him up, sending him funny stuff and all. *wonders if it's really the best idea*

i hope so too!!
thanks again!
