Jealous of my best friend.

Okay, so my best friend lives far away from me, and I only get to see her once every school holidays. But anyway, she came to my house on Tuesday & stayed for two nights & left yesterday afternoon. The whole time she was there, I just felt so jealous of her, she's beautiful, she's so funny and pretty much better than me. :/

When people feel like this, its really hard to say something that can help them. I have ever felt this and for me it was just a week ago. But I do know what I can tell you, accept yourself as you are and like you for yourself so that you don't go too far as to let it get out of control.

Re: Jealous of my best friend.

I know how you feel, i've had issues with myself since i can remember and it's very easy to get jealous of others when you think negatively about yourself. You start noticing things about people, things that you think you don't have or things you want.

One thing i have learnt though, is that it's not about what the other person has, or what you don't have. It's about how you view yourself and the only way you're going to stop these feelings is by changing the way you feel about yourself. Which is very very hard, but not impossible. Sorry i can't give tips on how to do that, being as i'm struggling with this myself. But i hope i at least gave you an idea of why you may feel this way.
