So, i told my friend last night... - October 18th 2010, 02:42 AM

My bestest friend in the world who i know she won't tell anyone.
I told her that i was bi, i'm anorexic, i cut, i have depression, i've tried to kill myself several times before, i was abused by my sister for years, i don't feel pain, i'm manipulative and play with peoples feelings, and stuff like that.
She wouldn't let me get out of the car before i told her my secrets, so i spilled my guts out.
She handled it surprisingly well, she gave me a big hug and told me to stop hurting myself.
The only thing she couldn't get over was that i was bi. She was just like, "Wait, what? How do you know?" I explained, then i told her some other things, and her face was just kinda blank and she was like "I still can't get my brain wrapped around that you're bi."
But she did pretty good, considering.
I actually feel better now that i've told someone about how fucked up i am, I was kinda scared shitless at first, but once i started talking all my emotions just drained and i didn't care what she did.
When she gave me a hug, i almost started crying. Then when we watched The Proposal, i started crying a little bit, but i don't think she noticed. I hope not anyways...

Guess i just wanted to say that i finally told someone about my problems.. I feel kinda proud of myself actually.

Sounds like you did a really good job! It can be really hard to tell someone something like this, but you did it! You SHOULD be proud!

Thanks.

She asked questions about things, and everytime i told her something, she was like O.O, but she handled it well considering i just dropped bombshell after bombshell on her.
(I usually act like the weird but funny person who's always smiling and laughing, so to find out those things, it's just weird.)

When i told her about my sister she teared up, actually. I felt kinda bad, because i haven't cried in such a long time about anything, so to see someone crying over my problems it's just like, whoa. Emotions.

I'm so glad to hear that you were able to confide in your friend. =) I agree with Chris... you SHOULD feel proud of yourself! It takes a great deal of courage to finally open up, especially about so many things!

I think it's fantastic that you were able to share these things with a good friend of yours. Hopefully you will be able to move on from a lot of these things, and always have the support of your friend when things get tough.

Take care.
