So Easily Replacable. - October 23rd 2010, 04:07 AM

I feel like I've told this same story five thousand different times, but it only gets added on to.

To sum it up short: I had a best friend, who found new friends, she thought that she should pay more attention to them so she wouldn't lose them, that resulted in me being abandoned.

Then the best friend I had long before that became apart of that group of friends. She's always hanging out with them, she barely ever hangs out with me anymore.

Then another one of my super close friends (one of the only ones I had left), started hanging out with them. Now when we do hang out they're all she can talk about, think about etc.

I feel like, I have no more friends. I mean, I have friends, but not the close type. Those friends that you can have fun with, but it doesnt get much deeper than that, you dont know much about them and vice versa. Why am I so damn easily left? I feel like there has to be something wrong with me.

Hey there, Sam!

Have you ever considered getting to know your friends' friends? If three of your friends liked that group enough to spend more time with them, then maybe you'll like that group as well!

Unfortunately, people change. Maybe your friends simply developed new interests, and feel like the new group is a better "fit" for them. If your interests don't match up with everyone else's interests... then you're in a bit of a tough situation. You could either change as well (which I wouldn't recommend), or you could find people who still share your interests. It's not fun to "start over", but if you keep your eyes and heart open to potential new friendships, I'm sure you'll meet some fun people in no time at all! =)

I feel the same way

It sucks how things change and how people change and how someone you used to be able to talk to about everything and anything can now walk past you as if you were never a big part of their life.

I'm sorry that you're being abandoned and replaced. I know how you feel and I know that it hurts a lot
