Unhappy Far out! - November 17th 2010, 04:09 AM

This thread has been labeled as triggering by the original poster or by a Moderator. Please take this into consideration before continuing to read.

So I really don't know much more of this I can take.
A few weeks ago, my Mum mentioned to me that she wants to go and jump off a bridge because of how depressed she is.
Again today, when my Mum came to pick me up from College for this Business Administration course I'm doing, she told me how fed up she is and that she now know's the reason why people commit suicide.
The psycharist that my Mum went and saw a few weeks ago, apparently didn't help. The doctor said it was OK for my Mum's medication to be increased. I'm so god damn worried about her because even though I know what it's like to have Depression because I'm going through it myself, I just don't know what to do.

Awwww Man thats so sad and I really really really feel sorry for you. My mum has depression, but no where near like your mum, shes not suicidal, in fact she won't even tell me. I just caught her taking an extra tablet as well as her thyroid ones and instead of asking her I looked up the name of the pill and found it was an antidepressant.

I really really dont know what to say but I just felt so sorry for you I had to comment, no one should have to hear anyone say they want to jump off a bridge, and especially their own mother All you can do is give her lots of love and support really. In the meantime I'll you my best wishes and also I really hope that she can find her happy place soon and beat this nasty depression.
