I'm so sick of my deadbeat dad! - December 9th 2010, 08:19 PM

So, as you can tell, I have this deadbeat dad issue. He has four chilren, the first one is my half brother that he abandoned when he was a baby, and me and my other sisters. So just to make a long story short, he left me and my sisters after my parents divorce and I haven't talked to him. I started to e-mail him lately with my mom and my counselor, to end this vicioius circle of questions that i ask him, (because my counsler says asking him questions is punishing him some how) I either talk to him or not talk to him, but it's like whenever I do talk to him, he says a LOT of things about my mom, and that I have to act like the grown up when I do talk to him. My older sister is twenty and I think (personally) that she is going through a relapse of childhood becuase she had to watch me and my little sister when we were babies when she was a kid because my dad didn't want to. I feel like if he didn't want us while he had the chance, then he doesn't deserve us now that he doesn't have us. My mom as custody over me and my little sister by the way. so my big decision, do I talk to hin, or never talk to hiim again!?!?!

It's actually your choice. If you don't want to talk to him, don't.
You'll feel bad if you force yourself to talk to him.
