Unhappy My friends suck. - January 13th 2011, 09:14 AM

This thread has been labeled as triggering by the original poster or by a Moderator. Please take this into consideration before continuing to read.

All I can say is my friends suck. All of them. They disappoint me over and over again. I don't trust any of them, not one. Not a lot of people turned up to my 18th and my friends over-react all the time, no matter the situation is.
For example, a couple of weeks ago, a 'friend' who I hadn't seen in like 6 years because we went to different high schools decided to delete and block me on Facebook because I said that I might accept a offer that I received from a University interstate.
And only just yesterday, my other 'friend' blocked me on MSN and Facebook. The reason? Because he wasn't invited to a guy's 18th (when I am) and because I didn't tell him the details he got pissed off. I apparently offended him by saying "Well no offence, but if you're not invited then why do you want to know?"
I mean how pathetic and melodramatic are my friends? And then they wonder why it is that I don't trust them.

I wish I could say that I empathize, but i have, for the most part, pretty good friends...accept for one, but eh. All I can say is that you need to find friends that you...identify with. Peropl who are in similar situations, having similar problems and thoughts. Don't let a fight get you down. If they're good friends, then it wont take long for them to say sorry or to start talking to you again.

I know a few funny quotes about friends that I love saying al the time. One of them is "A good friend will knock on your door and call your parents "mr." and "mrs.", but a BEST friend will swing open your door, walk into your house and yell "MOM, DAD! IM HOME!!" There are more like that too...

look around you. Is there an aquantance(sp?) That you find semi-trustworthy? Do you and that person have similar interests? Why not try to hang with that person and see where it goes. You may make a new, good friend, like me! -wink wink- lol
