My dad shattered my trust once more - February 16th 2011, 08:59 PM

Why can't he just be open minded for once? I'm trying to include him in on a rather large part of my life(my boyfriend) and instead he tells me how he'd like to beat the shit out of him.
Well I've had enough. I care more about this boy then I ever cared about my father. I'm keeping the choice I've made: Keeping away from my father and allowing myself freedom.

"I have no doubt that each man kills the thing he loves-to match his own dying" pg. 67/Tree of Knowledge/Author Unknown

You can't kill love, you can only try to extinguish it...and why would you want to be the cause of the death of something so pure?

wow, this sounds intense. So, in order to brainstorm on a solution and not mess up this potentially volatile situation, some more details will help paint an accurate idea of what's going on.

If you don't mind, let us know more about the situation. For example, you may touch upon these following questions in your response:

Is your Father easily angered? Like, what kinda stuff does he get steaming mad over? What do you think is the reason for his temper?

Was there something your bf did to piss off your Dad? Was there something you did to piss off your Dad?
