friends met friend - March 16th 2011, 10:40 PM

i have this friend M and i've known her 3 years
we've stopped talking
I have another friend of whom i treated like a brother, V One day M wanted to meet V
They just started talking over fb.
After valentines i found out (from V) that they messed around.
She broke up with him,
then she hooked him up with our other friend S.
Yesturday i went to the park with M, S, and V.
S and V seemed happy
I think today S broke up with him.
I was upset when i found out because i care about V
my friend (M) didn't seem to care
and she was making all this happen so i told her i was upset.
she said "why it's not like you two will stop being friends"
i replied with "this is why i don't like friends meeting friends" (i think that hurt her)
she told me that i always want to meet her friends
then i got defensive
and said, "name at leat one"
she couldn't
so she said that all my other old friends think i'm jelous of them being friends, and that really stung,
you see when we stopped talking i completely isolated myself from their group. It wasn't the same that year and i thought it was finally ok to move on but i guess i was wrong.

First thing first, i want to make sure my friend V is okay.
I'm not sure if i should be her friend anymore,
I don't know what to do.
Too many thoughts went into my head: Try to talk to her and fix it, avoid her for a while, Hurt her like she hurt me, it makes me terrified i confided in her with just about everything. my thoughts, my problems, my beliefs, my memories .. everything.

Hey there,
I definitely think that you should talk to your friend V and make sure he's okay.
And I think that you should avoid your friend M for a bit. Just take a step back from your friendship and gather your thoughts. Think about how you feel, do you still want to be their friend anymore, did they do anything else that hurt you that would influence your decision? So, yeah, avoid your friend M for a bit, and just think things over before you decide if you don't want to be friends with her or still want to be friends.

Hope I helped a bit!
& I hope things work out in the end.
