My best friend left my birthday party. -
October 24th 2011, 07:24 PM
There were only a few of us hanging out, as it was pretty early in the night, and my best friend announced she had to go get her phone charger. An hour later she showed back up with another friend. Her hair and make-up were done and she had changed her outfit, and they took a few shots, then she told me she was going to another party. It was a pretty small get-together, so everyone in the room was astonished when she walked out immediately after coming in to take shots. We've planned to talk about it, but I'm certain she'll have an excuse such as, "There was rap playing and it made me uncomfortable." or "My friend was begging me to go to this party with her." Tonight, she's invited me to go out to dinner after we talk and I just don't feel ready to hang out with her because she's acting like it wasn't a big deal, when really, it was a pretty big deal to me. Am I overreacting?
Waitin' for my ruca.

I can understand why you feel annoyed, as said, she is your best friend so you expect her to stay at your party because it's your birthday. Just talk to her about it, let her know how you feel and hopefully she'll realise and won't do it again.
