Non-PG13 (Strong Language): Dad Facebook Drama

Ok, so CPS was called the other day by my counselor, and my dad hasn't talked to me since then (two days). And so then today, here's what happened on facebook...

My status: I'm leaving turkeys of my plate this year because...

It's a bit hypocritical to give thanks over a dead bird, don't you think?

[Male Friend's] Comment: I give thanks for the ability to kill an animal and eat it without being criticized for it, bitch ._.

Dad's Comment: [Male Friend], if you talk to my daughter that way again, your parents and I will be having a discussion...or perhaps you'd like to come over to our house and say it to her personally?! I'd like your parents and Stephanie to be here when you espouse your profanity!

I'm so confused... what is he trying to redeem himself? He's abusive physically, sexually, and verbally to me and my family. He is also racist and sexist (against women) and doesn't refrain from calling me a c*nt bag and a b*tch!

I understand that it must be very confusing for you to be in this situation. But from personal expiriance I can honestly say that abusive people often dont really understand what they're doing and still feel the need to play the role of whoever they are in your life. I understand it must be very hard aswell... You can allways pm me if you ever need to.
