Do I give up on this friendship? - April 4th 2012, 09:39 AM

So this is a bit of a rant really but I hope I do not rant too much.
I am rather annoyed hence the rant. X friend said we would defiantly meet over half term with Y friend as with all the rubbish things that have happened between us. The other day X suggested Thursday and I was like maybe, I texted her back later saying I could and just check with Y... no reply... checked with Y she said possibly and so texted X....no reply. THEN on bloody facebook I see X is organising something with Z who she almost obsesses over. I also texted X the days I am free next week....no reply.
This so far seems a stupid reason to be angry but then again you don't know X. Our friendship has been rather rocky lately and I always seem to be the one making the effort. and she always says she needs to make more of an effort with Z because she is not a college, but the last time she has seen me and Y outside of college was almost probably a year ago! and when everything is not the same at college anymore we hardly talk anyway. any advice?

Have you tried talking to her on facebook what days your free to come and see her and Y? If not try that also try and catch her online on the chat. If she doesn't reply to you on facebook either then just give up the friendship it sounds like she is ignoring you and only saying she will meet up with you on half term for the sake of it without meaning it.

Glad to hear things worked out! Since the issue has been resolved, I'm closing this thread; however, feel free to create a new one or PM me if you would like to have this thread re-opened. =)
