I don't really drink all that much tea (I know I'm British, shock horror ) but if I had to pick it would definitely be hot tea.

As much as I enjoy colder drinks (which is why I don't drink tea that often) there's just something not right about a drink that's supposed to be hot being cold. I don't like iced coffees either for the same reason.

Hot tea 100%. I tried iced tea once. I don't understand it.

I like both hot and iced tea the same, although I prefer hot tea. I am used to drinking cold iced tea (with no sugar) because the weather in my place is always hot everyday.

I find drinking hot tea during summertime quite cooling. The people in India would agree with that, but iced tea doesn't have much appeal to me. Usually its flavour is smothered by lemon, often added to disguise the inferior tea that is used to make the product. Lipton's Iced Tea is one poor example where the manufacturers use tea fannings, or blended low quality teas of no repute except to brand their product in an attractive yellow tin. So give me hot tea any time, especially a nice comforting malty Assam, a bracing mug to warn off our winter chill.

I think iced tea is an American thing. I love both, personally. I drink iced tea throughout the day, and hot herbal tea at night. I also live in a really hot place, but unlike Alexa, I don't find it cooling to drink hot tea. Iced tea all the way for our 110 degree days.

I enjoy iced tea every once in a while, but I definitely prefer hot tea.

Iced tea, but hot tea is good on cold days.

Not all teas taste good cold. I like sweet tea cold, but most other teas I prefer hot.

People are probably gonna think I'm crazy, but in all honesty I despise all kinds of tea. I just can't drink it, I can't stomach it. I just find it so icky!

Oh well nevermind, each to their own.

Recently I had some delicious red rooibos tea. It had been mixed with marrons glace and real Bourbon vanilla and teasted sublime. It's called It's called ROUGE D'AUTOMNE by Mariage Freres The beauty of this tea is, it's equally delicious drank cold or hot. Low in caffeine it's also a comforting nighttime drink, but also great carried in a thermos to be enjoyed by yours truly, down on the farm.
