Gluten free desserts? - October 26th 2014, 12:58 AM

I want to make my friend some dessert for Christmas, only she has a gluten allergy, so I was wondering if any of you knew any gluten-free dessert recipes?

My only request is no chocolate chip cookies because her mom makes those for her a lot.

Hey!

I found these when I was googling, I'm not too sure on gluten free desserts, if it was vegan desserts I would have a huge list of good recipes. Nontheless, here are a few sites which have recipes for cakes, cookies, pies, brownies, etc.

~ Allrecipes
~ Gluten Free Goddess
~ Cooking light
~ Simply gluten free
~ Elena's pantry
~ Food (Holiday gluten free desserts)
~ Eating well ( Holiday desserts)
~ Saveur (Holiday desserts)

Technically speaking you could make almost anything gluten free if you replaced wheat flour with gluten free flour and likewise with other gluten containing products.

You also want to watch out because from what I know, gluten allergies means washing cookware really well. Even traces can have an effect.

Make something with pumpkin because its yummy and you know, fall season
Or coconut or oat and coconut cookies
