Question Plain Yogurt - December 24th 2010, 08:04 AM

What can you make that calls for plain yogurt? I have a bunch of it and I don't know what to do with it so I figured that there was recipes that used it... I just don't know any. Suggestions?

plain as in like vanillaish yogurt or what? im not quite sure what 'plain' yogurt tastes like, but i always get this tub of just plain vanilla yogurt and put bananas and granola in it and its delicious. you could try that.

You could use it in bread recipies, or to make dips.

Make a milkshake with some of it.

I try my best to help, but that doesn't always mean I will be helpful.

If it's vanilla, frozen fruit is the BEST!! I'm sure that there are a lot of dips out there for you to make too, like Tara said. You could also go to google or foodnetwork.com to find awesome recipes.

Chop fresh fruits especially strawberries and mangos and eat it like that. Or you could use it to do a milkshake.

It's really great for making low-fat brownies. Here's a recipe http://allrecipes.com//Recipe/lower-...es/Detail.aspx
or if you live near Trader Joe's, they have an excellent brownie mix called No Pudge that calls for plain yogurt.

Eat it with fruit or make dips with it.
