The name of this drink? -

I went out drinking, my friend had this drink and I can't remember what the hell it's called.
He had it with coke (sort of like you'd have a vodka and coke) and it tasted like caramel I guess you'd say, or at least that's how he described it. It began with a e and I think the word gold is in there somewhere, possibly? Anyone have any ideas? |

So this is an alcoholic drink?
I'm not sure of the name of it but it sounds like a caramel liquor type thing or maybe it was some sort of caramel vodka?  |

I actually have no idea, but it sounds familiar to something I drank but never looked at the name for.

 I had a google and I couldn't find it, it's really frustrating cause it was nice and I wouldn't mind getting some but it's hard when you don't know the name of it. Thanks though guys. |

There's a caramel liqueur that's made by E&J. Could that be it?

The bottle was clear, sort of like a big bottle of vodka with the label which was gold around the edge but that's all I can really remember but I know if I saw it, I might know it. I'll google that and see if it is.
