Hello everyone;

So your not a cooking guru, so what? If you had the basics in your fridge, what would you made for dinner? Spices are optional!

Meat:
-chicken (darkmeat)
-chicken (white meat)
-eggs
-pork (what kind?)
-beef (what kind?)
-roast
-wild meat (what kind?)

Vegetables: (your choice)
-potatoes
-carrots
-celery
-lettuce
-brocolli
-cauliflower
-cucumber
-other (describe)

Other: (somthing you'd find in the kitchen)

How would you cook it? What would be your recipe? Remember! Keep it simple!

Battered Pork Chops:
-egg yolks
-salted crackers
-steak spices/seasoning salt/garlic power

A) unthaw porckchops in fridge overnight or in water for a quick defrost
B) mix yellow egg yolks until creamy
C) break crackers and mix with spices
D) coat porkchops with yolks then with cracker pieces and spices
E) bake at 350 degrees until cooked through, or pan fry over medium heat in hot pan until crispy

Goes well with potatoes and mixed steamed vegetable, for a country styled easy meal!

Breaded baked chicken:

-Chicken breasts (boneless, skinless preferred)
-Bread crumbs or finely ground stuffing mix
-French onion dip
-Butter

1. Trim chicken breasts and cut into halves
2. Coat chicken breasts in french onion dip
3. Coat chicken in stuffing mix
4. Drizzle a little bit of melted butter over the top
5. Bake in the oven on 350 for 25-30 minutes

Place on plate, cut, and eat! Easy.

Pairs well with just about any kind of potato (I like pan-fried potatos) and any kind of vegetable (I usually choose corn).

Potatos, carrots diced small - to minimize cooking time- and tossed in oil and rose mary. Cubes or pieces of pork or chicken breast is optional but would also work, bake for twenty minutes.
