I made yummy soup tonight -

And that's quite an accomplishment because well... I don't cook.
Long story short, it's my mom's birthday today and I wanted to make her feel special, so my dad took me to the store on the way to my mom's house and we got some cheesecake for her and then some chicken, gnocchi, and chicken stock. So I made this:  I gotta say, watching me cook would be pretty funny because I was reading the little recipe on the side of the broth thing and it was like, "A generous dash of pepper. My reaction? "WHAT THE HECK IS A GENEROUS DASH? IS IT A TABLESPOON, A TEASPOON?" And then also, "Ewwwwwww... The chicken is slimy." I was also kind of short on time so I was freaking out then too. (I got home at 6:30. Mom gets home at 7:15) Despite all that it finished cooking right as she stepped through the door and I'm pretty sure she enjoyed it.
