Okay, so I've just made some jelly with orange juice, sugar, vodka and gelatine. I've put it in the fridge to set and I really hope it tastes nice. I've made cherry beer jelly before which was really good.
Anyone else made interesting jellies? how did they turn out? |

may be more of a syrup
 The orange juice and sugar will do that... hope it turns out okay as it sounds delicious!Tip: Fruits such as orange slices, apple slices and sliced cherrys will stop a jelly setting! Pics when it's ready?  |

It set really well! Tastes okay too
 I used a tad more gelatine than I normally would have because I wasn't sure how the alcohol would affect how it set. Success! I wish I had've done this when I was at uni - I missed out on a whole world of edible alcohol in jelly form haha! Might try making a strawberry martini one when I get paid. I should totally get some proper jely moulds too - I'm currently eating mine out of the pyrex jug I made it in.

I've uploaded the photo of the jelly - tesco value orange juice and tesco value vodka come together in a pyrex jug miracle! Also, there's a photo of a halloween cupcake that I decorated (it's a spider, not a crab haha!)

Yeah, my mum used to have individual jelly moulds and they worked well, but I love it so much that I usually eat the whole lot in one go...
