I like turkey, pigs in blankets and the Christmassy vedge on Christmas day, and within that time I eat sweets and a platter of cheeses.

Basically the same as Thanksgiving dinner except on Christmas we have ham instead of turkey. With mashed potatoes, carrots, green beans, stuffing, etc. etc.

My family is having ham, but I don't like ham so I'm having turkey. Then there's the usual mashed potatoes, rolls, corn, carrots, salad, sparkling apple cider, etc. :P

We do a thanksgiving dinner again basically. Turkey, cranberry sauce, dressing, mashed potatoes, and lots of veggies.

Re: Christmas Dinner - December 15th 2011, 04:55 AM

Turkey is for Thanksgiving! My family makes a delicious baked ham, potatoes au gratin, mom's "famous" glazed carrots, fresh green beans, and sometimes steamed broccoli. YUM.

Edit: I'm going to convince Mommy to make homemade pierogi as well.

Re: Christmas Dinner - December 17th 2011, 03:11 PM

I have a HUGE family . About 40 of us get together every year on boxing day and have a sort of pot luck. So we usually end up having:
Turkey
Roast beef
Meat balls
Nachos
Potatoes
Mixed veggies
Corn
Salad
Stuffing
Buns

For desert we usually have stuff like:
Shortbread cookies
Cinnamon rolls
Ice cream
Pie of all kinds
Everything is homemade!
yum now I can't wait!

My dad usually eats nut roast. This year my mum wants to make some vegetable pastry thing. I just eat roast potatoes and carrots. And we have meringues for pudding usually.

Re: Christmas Dinner - December 20th 2011, 03:29 PM

I have this quorn roast thing which is basically a HUGE sausage which I get in chicken bc I don't like turkey but some have turkey. Mum and Nan have some roasted bird. I have it with sage & onion stuffing, mash potatoe, yorkshire pudding, carrots, brocolli and a glass of champagne. Don't forget the crackers either!!!!! For pudding we have christmas pudding (I don't eat that) and then we all have chocolate log <3
While they eat there pudding thing I get to play with the cracker toys and read the jokes and if I fancy, I eat some chocolate from my selection box I always get
