My Friend's Dog - February 28th 2016, 04:48 AM

So the other day I found out that my friend (let's call her A) A she lost her dog. I was so sad. When she told me I felt like crying. Now I'm a bit worried that my turtle is going to die. I don't want him to leave. He's the most awesome pet ever. I don't want to lose him

I'm sorry to hear about your friend's dog, it's rough to lose a pet and I hope she is hanging in there. It's understandable to be upset about her dog, and when you hear about someone else losing a family member or a pet, it makes you think about your own life and the people or animals in it. I lost one of my cats a few months ago, and now I'm scared of losing the others. It's understandable you're worried about losing your turtle because this kind of thing tends to make you more aware.

It's worrisome. I think the best thing you can do, is focus on the time you do have with your turtle. Use that time to love him and make sure he's well taken care of. Life is limited for everyone, but you can do so many things with it. You just have to enjoy your loved ones and your pets while they are still here.

Im so sorry to hear about the loss of your friends dog, it sounds like it's been really difficult for you both and that's understandable.

I think when somebody loses a person close to them or an animal close to them it can hit us at home and make us think about what we have got. I think maybe your friends loss made you think about your pet which has developed into you having a fear of you losing your pet but I agree with cassie. Spend the time you have with your turtle and love your pet, remember the good times you have and enjoy what's now.

And hang on in there, you can do this.

I'm really sorry to hear about your friends dog.

It is sad when someone you love passes away.

The best advice I can give you is spend as much time with your turtle as you can, enjoy it's company and give it love.

Hope that helped.
