Is this a good idea? - March 8th 2011, 07:23 PM

My friend passed away in January, She took her own life. I miss her so much and still can't believe that shes gone. I have though about making a scrap book but i don't really know where to start or what to put in it. I don't really have any photos and stuff. so i don't know if its a good idea or not :/ But her birthday is coming up soon and i want to do something but i haven't told anyone about it and i can't really celebrate it on my own so im not sure what i should do or wheter a scrap book is a good idea or if it will just upset me more :/

xxxxxxx Take care xxxxxxx

Hi, I'm sorry about what happened. It's normal to be upset when someone has passed, but that doesn't mean it will go on forever. The best thing you can do is stay strong although it takes awhile to heal. However, don't go through it alone! Gather the support of your loved ones because they can help you pull through. It's also important to move on some point in life. Moving on in life doesn't necessarily mean forgetting your friend, but remembering them in simple and special ways. You can do that by creating a scrapbook. I think it's a great idea because you're honoring her memory and life through pictures and written words
Anyway I'm sure she would have wanted the very best for you in life. Good luck and stay strong
