It's been one year since my Nana ( Grandmother) passed away...
She was in the hospital for about a month, she was a fighter, but after two operations * just in one month* and having brest cancer once ( after her death we found out that she had breast cancer when she died, so she really had b-cancer TWICE!) we had to take her off life-support...She was in one of the WORST hospitals in Florida and I had to watch her die, through so much... I miss her so much. My other Grandmother ( who lives in Mass.) is NOTHING LIKE MY NANA! She's hard and mean... I think I have an ED because of her death & I think I need some help... Thanks for reading... 12.14.30 ~ 8.6.10 Gone too Soon <3<3 <3

Aw its surprising how many circumstances are the same in peoples life..
My nan passed away in april just gone, she was a second mother to us,she lived in our street seen her every day for hours.. Id cherish the memories you have with your Nana...You was there by her side... I was working in the south of france when my nan passed away i flew home on the first flight i could get when i found out,i feel gutted i wasn't there i hadn't seen her for nearly a month or 2..I was gutted and still am,i think about her..Its a good thing if you do.. Your gonna have horrible days, ones where you feel like staying in bed crying, your Nana wouldn't want that thou, she'd rather see you get on with your life, wouldn't see.. Chin up its the most terrible viscous thing when people pass away because we're left here standing heartbroken like the world has crush our hearts, but i'm very sure your Nana would rather see you smiling...

Hi Sabreena.
![]() I'm really sorry to hear about your Nana, it must have been a tough time for you and your family. ![]() In terms of death and grieving, a year is a relatively short space of time, so you cannot expect to be over her death already. You will probably never get over it completely, but will come to accept it as time passes. I too am in the situation where one of my Nans is much nicer than the other, so I know how you feel. I guess you just have to appreciate the time you did have with her and cherish those memories. Finally, if you feel you have symptoms of an eating disorder, it's best to seek help sooner rather than later, so I would advise you to make an appointment with your doctor. ![]() Take care of yourself and remember that time heals all wounds. ![]() J. x ![]() |
